Kari Leigh Matney

 August 21, 1980 - March 20, 2009

Kari and I had been friend since high school. We meet in Sapulpa Band Hall. lol Yes one of us was a band nered. It was me. lol I played the trombone and she did flags. Kari was a one of a kind person. She loved her friend and family. You would all most all way see her in her car with loud music. Hins the ticket. lol Kari and I where like sisters. We would fight like cat and dog, but if someone else missed with us. It was on. Just like sisters. Kari and I in high school would drive up and down the street listen to music. We all way ended up at Village Inn. lol It did not matter what we where doing that day. We all most all way went there. Kari and I have lots of great stores togather. We have been throw thick and thin. After High School, Kari and I would go hang out. We would go out dancing or Shopping. lol She loved to shop. lol We would allso go to TGIF FRIDAYS. It was are new favorite place.  

One day in 2006. Kari told me she was not felling good. I told her to go to the doctor. She did, and they would tell her there is nothing wrong. Kari had heart problem when she was young. So she call her mom and told her. Kari's mom called the place that did her last sergury.  They had her come up for test. Well she had to have surgury to fix her heart. It was suppost to be a simple surgury. She was suppost to be home in six weeks. She was up there for 2 years. She had problem after problem. Then this last October or November. She started filling better. We thought she was going to get to come home. She went in for a small surgury. All went well. She was recoving fine. She was suppost to be release in a couple days. The morning (I think) she was suppost to be released, She had a massive heart attack. Kari went to help Jesus March 20,2009. 

I will miss and love kari. 

BCS Declares Germany Winner of World War II

US Ranked 4th

After determining the Big-12 championship game participants, the BCS computers were put to work on other major contests and today the BCS declared Germany to be the winner of World War II.

"Germany put together an incredible number of victories beginning with the annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland and continuing on into conference play with defeats of Poland, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands. Their only losses came against the US and Russia; however considering their entire body of work--including an incredibly tough Strength of Schedule--our computers deemed them worthy of the #1 ranking."

Questioned about the #4 ranking of the United States the BCS commissioner stated "The US only had two major victories--Japan and Germany. The computer models, unlike humans, aren't influenced by head-to-head contests--they consider each contest to be only a single, equally-weighted event."

German Chancellor Adolf Hitler said "Yes, we lost to the US; but we defeated #2 ranked France in only 6 weeks." Herr Hitler has been criticized for seeking dramatic victories to earn 'style points' to enhance Germany's rankings. Hitler protested "Our contest with Poland was in doubt until the final day and the conditions in Norway were incredibly challenging and demanded the application of additional forces."

The French ranking has also come under scrutiny. The BCS commented " France had a single loss against Germany and following a preseason #1 ranking they only fell to #2."

Japan was ranked #3 with victories including Manchuria, Borneo and the Philippines.

Kari..

Well as most of you know. Kari has been in the hospital for two years in Minnesota. She went in for heart surgery and had a lot of complications. She lost both her leg from the knee down. She is doing great and is out of the hospital. She living in an apartment. She has a little more to go before coming home. She has over come a lot. She is my inspiration. When a lot of people would of given in. She fought for life. She was on cable Saturday night at 7 on the animal plant. Here is her video.

New way of spelling!!! ya right..

OK, so Carl and I went to dinner with some friends Saturday night. We where talking about a lot of things. When our friends were telling us a story about their daughter. Their daughter was at work she was calling customer name to come to her. When she said Le-a. She tried saying the name quite a few times, the mother stood up and aid the dash is not silent. Her name is Le dasha. We laughed sitting there at the table. I thought to myself...
When did we come to a point in our evolution of mankind that wingding became text that we use to name our children?

Mom Dog!!!

My mom Sandy. Has a tea cup dog. Don't ask what she is. All I can say is she has a attitude. Wow I did not know dog could be drama queen, but she is. Big time!!! She is funny. But I worry that I will walk on her all the time. She like to get under your feet. Oh ya I all ready did step on her. My mom and Sister but a cast on her to make me feel bad.
